Commonwealth Games 2026 Opening Ceremony LIVE Updates: The opening ceremony of the Glasgow Commonwealth Games 2026 is underway. The Parade of Nations took place, during which India’s contingent, led by flag-bearers Mirabai Chanu and Lovlina Borgohain, were greeted by a huge cheer from the crowd. Charles III, King of the United Kingdom, inaugurated the event. Electro-Celtic duo Valtos dazzled with their music during the parade. Grammy-nominated singer KT Tunstall and chart-topping musician Tom Walker are among the headline attractions still to perform. The mascot of CWG 2026, Finnie the unicorn, is also set to be unveiled.
