Techie held for providing VPS to cyber criminals

Cyber police in Haryana have apprehended a web developer accused of supplying virtual private servers to scammers. These servers facilitated the storage of harmful APK files involved in a financial fraud scheme. This arrest took place during an investigation into a Rs 17 lakh gas bill update scam that targeted a vulnerable senior citizen. The individual allegedly catered to over eleven hundred clients without verifying their identities.
