Marc Benioff and Lynne Benioff significantly contributed $100 million to UCSF for a new children’s hospital. This hospital opened in February 2015, featuring advanced facilities designed exclusively for pediatric care. In addition, they made another $100 million donation in 2014 to further support pediatric research and clinical programs. The hospitals were renamed to honor the Benioffs for their generous contributions to children’s health care.
