BMC sets March 2027 deadline for Ghatkopar STP, asks officials to step up pace
The BMC has set a March 2027 deadline for the Ghatkopar Sewage Treatment Plant. Additional manpower will be deployed to accelerate construction and meet the target. This new plant will treat 337 million litres of sewage daily using advanced technology. The adjoining pumping station upgrade is scheduled for completion by December 2026.
