Ahmedabad Metro expansion: Cabinet approves Rs 2,169-crore airport corridor

The Union Cabinet has greenlit Phase 2A of the Ahmedabad Metro Rail Project, a 6.032-km corridor costing Rs 2,169.04 crore. This new line will connect Koteshwar Road to Ahmedabad Airport, featuring five stations and expanding the metro network to 77.63 km. The project aims to boost connectivity, support potential sports events, and is expected to generate significant employment.
