Axis Bank reported a 3% year-on-year net profit increase to Rs 6,490 crore in the December quarter, driven by robust loan growth and higher fee income. Net interest income rose 5% to Rs 14,287 crore, fueled by a 14% surge in advances, particularly in corporate and SME segments.
