Shreyas Iyer resumes batting, heads to BCCI CoE for further assessment

India’s ODI vice-captain Shreyas Iyer has begun batting practice sessions post-injury in Mumbai, showing no discomfort. The 31-year-old is now heading to the BCCI Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru for further assessment. While a return date remains uncertain, Iyer is aiming for the Vijay Hazare Trophy, with clarity expected after assessment at the CoE.
