Joe Root creates history at Lord’s, breaks multiple longstanding records

Joe Root etched his name in Lord’s history, surpassing Graham Gooch as the highest run-scorer with 2526 runs. During the Test against India, he became the first to score 3000 Test runs against them and reached his 103rd fifty-plus score. Root is also nearing his 37th Test century.
