Young India opener Yashasvi Jaiswal equaled Rahul Dravid and Virender Sehwag as the joint-fastest Indian to 2,000 Test runs, achieving the milestone in his 40th innings during the second Test against England. He also became the fastest Indian to the mark in terms of matches played, reaching it in 21 Tests.
