Ahead of the upcoming Assam Assembly elections, three suspended MLAs of the Indian National Congress, Kamalakhya Dey Purkayastha, Basanta Das, and Sashi Kanta Das, joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) at the party’s state headquarters in Guwahati.
