Trump tariff refunds may reach companies but what about consumers?

The US Supreme Court has ordered the refund of $134 billion in tariffs collected under Trump’s administration. However, consumers, who indirectly bore the cost through higher prices, are unlikely to receive any of these refunds. Instead, the reimbursements will go to importers who initially paid the levies.
