‘Historically new level’: US cuts tariffs on Bangladeshi goods to 19% under new trade deal

The United States and Bangladesh have inked a new trade pact, lowering tariffs on Bangladeshi exports to the US to 19%. This agreement, hailed as a significant step, also introduces zero reciprocal tariffs for specific textile and apparel shipments made with US cotton and man-made fibers.
