Sindhudurg Airport in Maharashtra’s Konkan region has secured DGCA approval for 24/7 operations, including during low visibility and adverse weather. This enhancement, utilizing Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) and satellite-based navigation, boosts the airport’s reliability and is expected to foster economic and tourism growth in the region. The airport also saw a record nearly 11,000 passenger movements in December.
