France’s Safran to double workforce, boost sourcing from India

French aerospace giant Safran is set for rapid expansion in India, planning to double its workforce and significantly boost sourcing from Indian suppliers every two years. The company is broadening its focus from civil aviation to dual-use and defence components, establishing new design and manufacturing facilities.
