Zomato and Swiggy have increased their platform fees by 20%-25% during the festive season, impacting consumers’ wallets. Zomato’s platform fee is now Rs 12 per order, while Swiggy’s is Rs 15. Previously, these charges were Rs 10 and Rs 12, respectively, on Zomato and Swiggy, leading to higher costs for ordering food.
