Trade data: India’s exports rise 7.29% to $37.24 billion in July, imports grow 8.6% to $64.59 billion

India’s merchandise exports reached $37.24 billion in July, a 7.29% increase from the previous year. Imports also rose by 8.6% to $64.59 billion, resulting in a trade deficit of $27.35 billion. Cumulatively, exports grew by 3.07% to $149.2 billion during April-July 2025-26. Imports advanced by 5.36% to $244.01 billion during the same period, according to government data.
