PAN 2.0 rollout update: LTIMindtree bags Income Tax Department project; all services to unify in 18 months

LTIMindtree has secured a Rs 1,435 crore contract from the Income Tax Department to modernize PAN services. The PAN 2.0 platform, expected to launch in 18 months, will consolidate PAN and TAN services into a unified, paperless system. This upgrade aims to enhance user experience, streamline processes, and offer free allotment, updates, and corrections.
