The EPFO has increased the auto-settlement threshold for provident fund advance withdrawals from ₹1 lakh to ₹5 lakh, enabling quicker access to funds for members, especially during emergencies. This enhancement allows claims up to ₹5 lakh to be processed automatically within three days.
