As Centaur awaits end, Leela takes over Srinagar property

The Centaur Srinagar, one of the last two Centaur Hotels, has been taken over by The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts for a 60-year lease. Leela is investing Rs 300 crore in a major renovation, aiming to reopen the property with 170 larger rooms and branded houseboats by the end of next year.
