The Union Cabinet has approved a significant financial boost for the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Sampada Yojana. A total of Rs 6,520 crore has been allocated. This includes support for food irradiation units and food testing laboratories. The initiative aims to enhance food preservation and ensure food safety standards.
