Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated the Gorakhpur link expressway, a 91.35-kilometre project costing Rs 7,283.28 crore. This expressway connects Gorakhpur to Azamgarh, linking to the Purvanchal Expressway, and passes through four districts. It significantly reduces travel time, for example, Urwa is now just 20–25 minutes away.
