‘Connecting Mizoram to every heart of India!’: Aizawl set for rail boost; CRS speed trial of Bairabi-Sairang successful, says Vaishnaw

Mizoram is now fully connected to India’s railway network as the Bairabi-Sairang line was successfully tested. Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw celebrated this milestone, emphasizing its role in linking Mizoram to the rest of the country. The newly commissioned 51.38-km broad gauge line, featuring 32 tunnels and 35 major bridges, received final approval after safety inspections.
