GST collections in May cross Rs 2 lakh crore mark for the second consecutive month; see 16.4% rise

GST collections have surpassed Rs 2 lakh crore for the second consecutive month in May 2025, reaching Rs 2.01 lakh crore, a 16.4% increase year-on-year, according to the Ministry of Finance. This follows a record high of Rs 2.37 lakh crore in April.
